Release tension
Eases tight shoulders, back and neck, and the stiffness of long days and travel.
Shiatsu on Patmos
Hands-on Japanese bodywork by the sea: gentle pressure, stretching and stillness to ease tension and restore your natural balance.
The practice
Shiatsu means finger pressure in Japanese. Using palms, thumbs, elbows and gentle stretches, the practitioner works along the body's meridians to release held tension and support the flow of energy, or ki.
Sessions take place on a padded futon, fully clothed. There are no oils. The touch is calm, attentive and adapted to you, whether you arrive tired, stiff, restless or simply curious.

Calms the nervous system and helps body and mind settle into a steadier rhythm.
Many people fall into a deep, restful state and leave feeling lighter and clearer.

About
I'm a shiatsu practitioner living and working on Patmos. I came to shiatsu looking for a way to slow down, and stayed because of how simply and deeply it helps people feel at home in their bodies.
My practice is shaped by the island: its pace, its light and its quiet. I welcome locals and visitors alike, in a calm space overlooking the bay.

Your first visit
Wear loose, comfortable clothes. We start with a short chat about your health and how you're feeling.
You lie on a futon, fully clothed, while I work with pressure, stretches and gentle holds.
A few quiet minutes to come back slowly, with water or tea before you go.
Visit
Sessions take place in a quiet studio near Skala, the island's harbour town, a short walk from the port.
